The Tai Tapu Run Festival is owned by the New Brighton Olympic Athletics Club. As a Not For Profit organisation they rely on a variety of fundraising initiatives to provide quality athletics coaching and resources to children and adults.

 

In 2018 we were introduced to Tony McManus, the Race Manager to see how we could get alongside them and help out. We assisted them with social media, customer experience improvements and sponsorship. All of which helped them grow participation by over 70%!

In 2019 we took on more of a lead role, assuming overall responsibility for the event development, marketing, sponsorship and operations for this event. As part of this we identified the opportunity to introduce a new 'family friendly' 4k event into day.

All in all, we love working with the team at NBO, and helping people be more active.
